Leitchfield Exterminating is a local family-owned pest control company that has served Central Kentucky since 1975. We service all commercial, residential and lake home properties. All of our pest control professionals have been trained and certified under the Kentucky Department of Agriculture guidelines. Our technicians will help you to rid your home or office of pests, and prevent them from coming back again. Our staff is trained and ready to provide you with the pest management services you need. Our Team

We have been offering high-quality pest control services to Grayson County and the surrounding areas since our inception. We are proud to provide pest control help to residents in the South Central Kentucky area.

Sherbert and Linda VanMeter

Owners

Sherbert and Linda have owned Leitchfield Exterminating, Inc. since 1975. They started everything within the business from the ground up. In the beginning, Sherbert did all the service work necessary and Linda would take care of all of the office and administration duties. Since then, they have built Leitchfield Exterminating, Inc. into a successful business serving thousands of customers annually throughout South Central Kentucky. Sherbert and Linda are currently working in another business venture, Renegade Marine and Outdoor Center. A complete sales and service boat dealership. They can be reached at 270-259-0001.

Mark “The Enforcer” Godby

Operations Manager

Mark has been the Operations Manager at Leitchfield Exterminating, Inc. since 2004, though his career with the company spans more than 28 years. He is a state-certified licensed operator and technician in both pest and termite control, as well as an Authorized Operator for the Sentricon® Colony Elimination System. In addition to overseeing daily operations with staff and customers, Mark stays active in the field by performing service work, estimates, and inspections.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys hunting and fishing, and he and his wife, Tracie, along with their son, Trenton, love spending their family vacations at the beach.

Technicians

Bill “Bug Killer” Hendrick

Bill is the Technician Supervisor at LEI, where he leads the team and assists with customer sales. He is a state-certified technician and an Authorized Operator for the Sentricon® Colony Elimination System. With years of field experience, Bill oversees Sentricon® customers, new installations, and Always Active™ upgrades.
Strangest thing he’s seen on the job: A puppy stuck to a glue trap.

Steven “The Bug Slayer” Hendrick

Steven is a state-certified technician specializing in termite control. He provides expert service with liquid applications, Sentricon® system installs, and ongoing monitoring to protect homes from costly termite damage.

Brian “The Terminator” Hendrick

Brian is one of LEI’s lead technicians. He is a state-certified professional and an Authorized Operator for the Sentricon® Colony Elimination System. Brian manages Sentricon® customers, new installations, and Always Active™ upgrades, while also specializing in first-time customer services and monthly or quarterly treatment plans.
If he were a bug, he’d be: An ant—because “they always know where the cookie jar is.”

David “The Destroyer” Hogan

David is a state-certified technician specializing in residential and commercial pest control. His services include customer relations, bed bug programs and treatments, and he is an Authorized Operator for the Sentricon® Colony Elimination System. David proudly services Warren, Ohio, Grayson, and Hardin counties.
Strangest thing he’s seen on the job: Bed bugs inside a refrigerator.

JC “The Eliminator” Rowland

JC is a state-certified service technician with LEI. He specializes in termite control, assisting with liquid applications, Sentricon® installs, and ongoing monitoring. In addition, JC helps maintain new customer accounts as well as monthly and quarterly treatment plans.
Insect he’s most afraid of: Termites—because “they are sneaky and cause a lot of damage.”

LH, Hoppy “Grasshopper” Poole

Hoppy is a state-certified service technician with LEI. He assists in termite control through liquid applications, Sentricon® installs, and monitoring. Along with termite work, Hoppy helps maintain new customer accounts as well as monthly and quarterly treatment plans.
If he were a bug, he’d be: A spider—because “nothing messes with them.”

David “The Hired Gun” Rivas

David is a state-certified service technician with LEI. He assists in termite control through liquid applications, Sentricon® installs, and monitoring. In addition to termite work, David manages all aspects of pest control—including bed bug treatments—and helps maintain new customer accounts as well as monthly and quarterly treatment plans.
Strangest thing he’s seen on the job: A customer who didn’t want him to kill a spider on the patio.

Jesse “Boom Boom” Tomes

Jesse is a state-certified service technician with LEI. He assists in termite control with liquid applications, Sentricon® installs, and monitoring. In addition, Jesse manages all aspects of pest control—including bed bug treatments—and helps maintain new customer accounts as well as monthly and quarterly treatment plans.
If he were a bug, he’d be: A fly on the wall—“so you can hear people’s conversations.”

Garret “The Striker” Angus

Garret is a state-certified service technician with LEI. He assists in termite control through liquid applications, Sentricon® installs, and monitoring. In addition, Garret helps maintain new customer accounts as well as monthly and quarterly treatment plans.

Dalton “The Demolisher” Volk

Dalton is a state-certified service technician with LEI. He assists in termite control through liquid applications, Sentricon® installs, and monitoring. Dalton also helps maintain new customer accounts as well as monthly and quarterly treatment plans.

Don “The Defender” Grimes

Don is a state-certified service technician with LEI. He plays an important role in termite control, providing liquid treatments, installing Sentricon® systems, and performing ongoing monitoring. Don also works closely with customers on new accounts and helps manage regular monthly and quarterly pest control services.

Henry “The Hulk” Webster

Office Staff

Susan “Ladybug” Lindsey

Susan is the Administration Manager at LEI. She works daily in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and scheduling, while also assisting with customer problem-solving to help ensure everything runs smoothly.

Alanna “Bumblebee” Clemons

Alanna is an Administrative Assistant with LEI. She manages daily work orders, organizes technician routes, provides customer service, and responds to customer emails to help keep everything on track.
