Leitchfield Exterminating is a local family-owned pest control company that has served Central Kentucky since 1975. We service all commercial, residential and lake home properties. All of our pest control professionals have been trained and certified under the Kentucky Department of Agriculture guidelines. Our technicians will help you to rid your home or office of pests, and prevent them from coming back again. Our staff is trained and ready to provide you with the pest management services you need. We have been offering high-quality pest control services to Grayson County and the surrounding areas since our inception. We are proud to provide pest control help to residents in the South Central Kentucky area.

Sherbert and Linda VanMeter

Owners

Sherbert and Linda have owned Leitchfield Exterminating, Inc. since 1975. They started everything within the business from the ground up. In the beginning, Sherbert did all the service work necessary and Linda would take care of all of the office and administration duties. Since then, they have built Leitchfield Exterminating, Inc. into a successful business serving thousands of customers annually throughout South Central Kentucky. Sherbert and Linda are currently working in another business venture, Renegade Marine and Outdoor Center. A complete sales and service boat dealership. They can be reached at 270-259-0001.

Mark “The Enforcer” Godby

Operations Manager

Mark has been Operations Manager of Leitchfield Exterminating, Inc since about 2004 although he’s been with the company more than 28 years. He is a state certified licensed operator and certified technician in pest control, termite control and is an authorized operator for Sentricon Colony Elimination System. Not only does he handle daily operations with staff and customers, he is active daily doing service work, estimates and inspections. Mark is married to Tracie and they have one son, Trenton. Mark enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time. He and his family also like to spend their vacations at the beach.

Technicians

William “Bugman” Blanton

William currently assists in termite control with liquid applications, Sentricon installs, and monitoring. William is a state-certified technician. Insect most afraid of: Brown recluse black widow spider.

Bill “Bug Killer” Hendrick

Bill is the Technician Supervisor at LEI and assist with customer sales. He is a state certified technician as well as an Authorized Operator for Sentricon Colony Elimination System. Bill has field experience and currently maintains Sentricon customers, new installs and Sentricon Always Active upgrades.
Strangest thing seen on the job: A puppy stuck to a glue trap.

Brian “The Terminator” Hendrick

Brian, a lead technician with LEI is a state certified technician and an Authorized Operator for Sentricon Colony Elimination System. Brian has field experience and currently maintains Sentricon customers, new installs and Sentricon Always Active upgrades. Brian specializes in new first time customer services, as well as monthly and quarterly plan treatments.
If you were a bug, which one would that be? An ant, “they know where the cookie jar is.”

David “The Destroyer” Hogan

David is a state certified technician specializing in residential and commercial pest control. His services include customer relations, bed bug programs and treatments, and an Authorized Operator for Sentricon Colony Elimination System. David services Warren, Ohio, Grayson, and Hardin counties.
Strangest thing seen on the job: Bed bugs in a refrigerator.

JC “The Eliminator” Rowland

JC is a service technician with LEI. He currently assists in termite control with liquid applications, Sentricon installs and monitoring. JC also helps maintain new customer, monthly and quarterly treatment plans. JC is a state certified technician.
Insect most afraid of: Termites, “they are sneaky and cause a lot of damage.”

LH, Hoppy “Grasshopper” Poole

Hoppy is a service technician with LEI. He currently assists in termite control with liquid applications, Sentricon installs and monitoring. Hoppy also helps maintain new customer, monthly and quarterly treatment plans. Hoppy is a state certified technician.
If you were a bug, which one would that be? A spider, “nothing messes with them.”

David “The Hired Gun” Rivas

David is a service technician with LEI. He currently assists in termite control with liquid applications, Sentricon installs and monitoring. David can manage all aspects of bug control, including bed bugs. David also helps maintain new customer, monthly and quarterly treatment plans. David is a state certified technician.
Strangest thing seen on the job: A customer didn’t want me to kill a spider on the patio.

Jesse “Boom Boom” Tomes

Jesse is a service technician with LEI. He currently assists in termite control with liquid applications, Sentricon installs and monitoring. Jesse can manage all aspects of bug control, including bed bugs. Jesse also helps maintain new customers, monthly and quarterly treatment plans. Jesse is a state certified technician.
If you were a bug, which one would that be? A fly on the wall, “so you can hear people’s conversations.”

Anthony “The Butcher” Vincent

Anthony is a service technician with LEI. He currently assists in termite control with liquid applications, Sentricon installs and monitoring. Anthony also helps maintain new customer, monthly and quarterly treatment plans. Anthony is a state certified technician.

Steven “The Bug Slayer” Hendrick

Steven currently assists in termite control with liquid applications, Sentricon installs, and monitoring. Steven is a state-certified technician.

Sam “The Bruiser” Whitfill

Sam is a service technician with LEI. He currently assists in termite control with liquid applications, Sentricon installs and monitoring. Sam also helps maintain new customer, monthly and quarterly treatment plans. Sam is a state certified technician.

Office Staff

Susan “Ladybug” Lindsey

Susan is the Administration Manager at LEI. Susan works daily in accounts receivable, accounts payable, scheduling and problem solving with customers.

Dawn “Firefly” Newhart

Dawn is an Administrative Assistant with LEI. She works daily on scheduling quarterly customer appointments, filing paperwork and customer service.

Alanna “Bumblebee” Clemons

Alanna is an Administrative Assistant with LEI. She works daily on work orders, route organization, customer service and responding to customer emails.
